The Cymap Psychrometrics program can be used to determine varying psychrometric conditions at different positions of a pre-determined plant cycle.
The engineer has the ability to build up a “system” using symbols to represent different components of plant.
By manipulating data inputs the engineer can determine, for example, free cooling and recirculation requirements for varying fresh air loads, which in turn gives off coil mixed air temperatures.
All sorts of different standard systems can be entered from a selection of pre-determined AC cycles such as run around coils, pre heater batteries, VAV etc. Each system can be tailored and modified to suit the individual requirements.
A complete set of results showing the psychrometric properties of air at chosen positions on the AC system as well as plant heating/cooling coil and off coil temperatures can be determined.
The engineer has the ability to manipulate data archive set results by re-setting data entry fields so the net result can be calculated for given inputs.
