New ABB/SACE Circuit Protective Device Database

  • Ability to model multiple transformer supplies serving power distribution enabling variation in fault level to be analysed by bringing transformers on/off line
  • Earth Fault discrimination study with devices with inbuilt earth fault tripping devices
  • Revised entry methods for HV devices protecting transformers
  • Arc Flash protection analysis an conditions
  • Ability to change drawing extents in Quick Plan
  • Ability to copy and drop rooms on the same plan or on different floors
  • Ability to move rooms by dragging grips
  • Updated and Improved iSBEM interface including room filtering
  • Ability to edit elevation dimensions effectively allowing elevational changes to the building to take place

Cymap 2010 Wiring Viewer - Released

The Cymap Wiring Viewer is a new low-cost product allowing users such as Electrical Engineers, Facilities Managers, Construction & Maintenance Personnel, Quantity Surveyors, Stores & Supply departments to open and read an existing Cymap Wiring file.

In addition, users can utilise the electrical design, calculation and printout capability of the full Cymap Wiring 2010 program to explore alternative distribution design & load options by examining and changing the full details of:

  • Cable type, size and installation.
  • CPD type and settings, for both LV & HV.
  • Adding new boards & loads.
  • Editing the details and characteristics of the incoming Mains supply and any Standby Generators.

   
The Cymap Wiring Viewer software can also be used for training and familiarisation.

To allow the use of the Cymap Wiring Viewer without the need for a hardware lock, certain functions have been inhibited to prevent unauthorised changes being made to the original Wiring design file. The Save, Save As, Plot and Make DXF functions have been disabled. Cymap Wiring Viewer is enabled by use of an authorisation code.

Cymap Wiring Viewer costs £ 149.00 + VAT (with discounts for volume purchases) and is available immediately.

  • Ability to model HV/LV discrimination and HV protection
  • Discrimination Study percentage display and maximum fault levels
  • Improved room manipulation allowing room outlines to be adjusted
  • Improved floorplan display showing windows and doors
  • Link to Dehn BS-EN 62305 Lightning Protection package
  • Comprehensive New Range of Electrical Symbols in the Electrics module
  • Ability to highlight un-measured circuits
  • Improved SAP 2005 interface, and reports (awaiting accreditation)
  • Improved iSBEM interface including room filtering
  • TM37 glazing changes allowing more detailed modelling of shading/blinds giving more accurate calculation of solar gains
  • Ability to turn display of floorplan off
  • Improved import of included SBEM/CIBSE building profiles
